释义 |
The Psittacosis outbreak of 1929–1930, also known as the great parrot fever outbreak of 1929, was a worldwide outbreak of psittacosis affecting 750 to 800 people, with a 15% death rate. Previously, it had been described as a human disease in Europe in 1879, but was rarely reported. The establishment of the National Institutes of Health is directly linked to the outbreak that occurred in Maryland.[1][2][3][4] References1. ^{{Cite journal|last=Grinblat-Huse|first=Valerie|last2=Drabek|first2=Elliott F.|last3=Creasy|first3=Heather Huot|last4=Daugherty|first4=Sean C.|last5=Jones|first5=Kristine M.|last6=Santana-Cruz|first6=Ivette|last7=Tallon|first7=Luke J.|last8=Read|first8=Timothy D.|last9=Hatch|first9=Thomas P.|date=August 2011|title=Genome Sequences of the Zoonotic Pathogens Chlamydia psittaci 6BC and Cal10|url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3147492/|journal=Journal of Bacteriology|volume=193|issue=15|pages=4039–4040|doi=10.1128/JB.05277-11|issn=0021-9193|pmc=3147492|pmid=21622741|via=}} {{Med-stub}}2. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00014688.htm|title=Psittacosis in the United States, 1979|last=|first=|date=|website=www.cdc.gov|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=6 April 2019}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=104768337|title=In 1929, Parrot Fever Gripped The Country, interview with Jacki Lyden|last=Lepore|first=Jill|date=31 May 2009|website=NPR.org|language=en|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=6 April 2019}} 4. ^{{Cite journal|last=Ramsay|first=Edward C.|date=2003|title=The Psittacosis Outbreak of 1929–1930|url=https://www.jstor.org/stable/27823356|journal=Journal of Avian Medicine and Surgery|volume=17|issue=4|pages=235–237|issn=1082-6742}} 1 : Pandemics |
