The village is located ca. {{convert|40|km|mi}} northeast of Nusaybin in the Tur Abdin region of southeastern Anatolia.[1][2] Qolika is today mostly an abandoned Yazidi village. The village had exclusively Yazidi population. Almost all Yazidis from Turkey have fled, especially to Germany, because they were oppressed and expelled by the Kurds and Turks.[3][4] References1. ^{{Cite book|url=https://books.google.de/books?id=E4FpDDbrvqkC&pg=PA73&dq=Efshe+Kiwekh+Geliye+Sora+Khanik+Mezre+Qolka&hl=de&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiFo8nau8HfAhWNL1AKHQweDqYQ6AEIJTAA#v=onepage&q=Efshe%20Kiwekh%20Geliye%20Sora%20Khanik%20Mezre%20Qolka&f=false|title=Yezidism in Europe: Different Generations Speak about Their Religion|last=Kreyenbroek|first=Philip G.|date=2009|publisher=Otto Harrassowitz Verlag|isbn=9783447060608|language=en}} 2. ^{{Cite web|url=https://nisanyanmap.com/?eth2=yz|title=Index Anatolicus|website=nisanyanmap.com|access-date=2018-12-28}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.tums.ac.ir/1392/03/17/Yepiskoposyan_I&C_2010.pdf-andonian-2013-06-07-09-54.pdf|title=Genetic Affinity between the Armenian Yezidis and the Iraqi Kurds|last=|first=|date=|website=|format=PDF|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=2018-12-28}} 4. ^{{Cite journal|last=Soydan|first=Ersoy|title=BATMAN YEZIDIS AND YEZIDIS ORAL TRADITION (BATMAN YEZİDİLERİ VE YEZİDİ SÖZLÜ KÜLTÜRÜ)|url=https://www.academia.edu/37741530/BATMAN_YEZIDIS_AND_YEZIDIS_ORAL_TRADITION_BATMAN_YEZ%C4%B0D%C4%B0LER%C4%B0_VE_YEZ%C4%B0D%C4%B0_S%C3%96ZL%C3%9C_K%C3%9CLT%C3%9CR%C3%9C_|language=en}} 5 : Populated places in Mardin Province|Tur Abdin|Villages in Turkey|Yazidi villages in Turkey|Yazidi populated places in Turkey |
