{{otheruses|Alcheringa (disambiguation)}}Alcheringa Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Victoria, BC that specializes in Indigenous Northwest Coast fine art from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and other parts of Canada. Alcheringa's goal is to positively and respectfully promote and support indigenous artists and their culture and practices in an era of Canada's Truth & Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the United Nation's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).' Alcheringa also represents indigenous artists from Papua New Guinea, Australia, Solomon Islands, and Torres Strait. It was one of the first galleries to make use of the internet in 1996.[1]See also- Northwest Coast art
