Rakh Syedan is a village situated in Sheikhupura District. It is situated on the Sargodha Road near Parco branch. The 96 percent of the population of this village is Syed's by caste. They are Gillani Syed's. They belong to the family of the famous Sufi Saint Syed Hassan Badr ul din Gillani of Masanian Shareef India[1] Gurdaspur. The tomb of Syed Hassan Badr ul din Gillani is in the Masanian Village in India. The Sadaat of Rakh Syedan had migrated from Masanian[2] Shareef the village in Gurdaspur, India. This is the reason that Syeds of Rakh Syedan are also called as Masanvi Sadaat. This village is famous due to the Muharram ul Haram Majalis.[3] The life of the people of this small village is very simple. They are very loving and friendly. They respect the Guests and azadaar who came there in the Majlis. The people of this village are educated and well renowned. The main source of the income of the people of this village is agriculture and many of them are government servants working in different government departments such as Police, Army, Agriculture, Wapda and other civil and Law departments.
