This semi-natural wood on boulder clay is mainly pedunculate oak and ash, with a coppiced understorey mainly of hazel. The flora includes 38 species indicative of ancient woodland.[1] There is access by footpaths from Claydon and Henley. {{commonscat|Rede Wood}}References1. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://www.lnr.naturalengland.org.uk/Special/lnr/lnr_details.asp?C=38&N=&ID=932 |title=Rede Wood |series=Local Nature Reserves|publisher=Natural England| date = 27 March 2013 |accessdate= 1 August 2017}} {{coord| 52.112| 1.143 |type:landmark_region:GB|display=title}}{{Local Nature Reserves in Suffolk}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://magic.defra.gov.uk/MagicMap.aspx?startTopic=Designations&activelayer=lnrIndex&query=REF_CODE%3D%271009908%27 |title=Map of Rede Wood|series=Local Nature Reserves|publisher=Natural England| accessdate= 1 August 2017}} 1 : Local Nature Reserves in Suffolk |
