In 2017, he represented Pledis Entertainment in the survival series Produce 101 Season 2. CareerPre-debutRen also served as After School Blue back-up dancers for "Wonder Boy" music video and live performances together with NU'EST members and Seventeen's S.Coups. In December 2011, JR and the other Pledis trainees dubbed as After School Boys performed together with After School on SBS Gayo Daejeon.[1] Along with his members Ren featured with After School's Lizzy in a commercial for New Balance. He also appeared at the F/W 2012–13 Seoul Fashion Week as a model for designer Park Yoon-soo’s fashion show 'Big Park'.[2] 2012–2016: NU'ESTOn 15 March 2012, Ren debuted as a member of NU'EST.[3] In 2013, Ren appeared in the television drama Jeon Woo-chi.[4] 2017: Produce 101 Season 2Ren participated in the reality television series Produce 101 Season 2 during the first half of 2017.[5] Ren became models for the cosmetics company Labiotte.[6] Ren joined the JTBC variety show Learning the Hard Way, of which he is a fixed member.[7] FilmographyReality television
