His works include "Tactics of the Russian Army in the Napoleonic Wars" and "Roman Republican Heavy Infantrymen in Battle (4th-2nd centuries BC)". Zhmodikov propounded an original but contradictory{{Clarify|date=June 2013}} theory of the Ancient Roman missile combat. Lives in Saint Petersburg. External links
