{{orphan|date=October 2017}}Ryan Chetiyawardana, known as 'Mr Lyan', was awarded the world's best bartender in 2015^[1] and is considered one of the world's most influential bartenders. He opened White Lyan, now Super Lyan, in Hoxton, England in 2013, and Dandelyan, at the Mondrian London, in 2014, and published a book, Good Things to Drink with Mr Lyan and Friends, in 2015.^[2] He opened Cub, a sustainable London restaurant, in 2017, alongside Doug McMaster.^[3] In 2018, Dandelyan came in first place in the World's 50 Best Bars awards, just days after Chetiyawardana announced that he plans to close the bar in favour of a new venture.^[4]
