He announced his retirement from playing professional basketball in May 2007.[1] Spanish national teamReyes played with the senior Spanish national basketball team at the following tournaments: the 1995 EuroBasket, the EuroBasket 1997, the 1998 FIBA World Championship, the EuroBasket 1999, the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics,[2] the EuroBasket 2001, the 2002 FIBA World Championship, and the EuroBasket 2003.
