HistorySaint Philomena College was established by Msgr Antony Patrao in 1958.[2] Since then the college has been imparting education to students from Dakshina Kannada as well as students from nearby districts such as Kodagu, Kasargod and Hassan. The College has earned a name by virtue of its disciplined functioning and achievements in the academic field as well as in the field of sports and games.
