The headquarters is located in Port Harcourt City, Nigeria. HistorySalvation Ministries was founded on 13 April 1997 by Pastor David Ibiyeomie with 34 members in attendance:15 males ,10 females and 9 children at plot 35 Birabi Street, GRA phase IV, Port Harcourt Nigeria.[2] In 2002, The church started a television ministries whcich was later renamed hour of salvation. The church experience massive growth starting from 2002, it started organizing five services every Sunday due to its population growth, with hundreds of thousands[3] in attendance at the headquarters and satellite churches worldwide. Hour Of SalvationIn 2001, Ibiyeomie started a television program the Hour of Salvation on NTA channel 10 Port Harcourt with the maiden episode, Faith is Now. [4][5] Today, he preaches on that program in over 47 television stations[6] locally and internationally.[7] EducationSalvation Ministries runs a Christian training college, the Word of Life Bible Institute[8] which began a few months after the inception of the church in 1997 with 23 students . Chokhmah International Academy is also linked to the church which began in 2012 and secondary in 2014[9].
