{{Use British English|date=January 2019}}{{Same-sex unions}}Same-sex marriage in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, a British Overseas Territory, has been legal since 2014, after it was legalised in England and Wales, although the Foreign Office only updated its travel advice website page to include a note about it in January 2018.^[1]^[2] The Foreign Office has confirmed that, as of yet, no same-sex weddings have taken place in the territory.^[3]
