CareerSamuel Chouinard is a dancer, a dance teacher and a choreographer[1]. Trained in hip-hop, ballet, jazz and contemporary dance, he also works closely with ice dancers and figure skating coaches Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon at Gabdois's figure skating club and ice dancing school in Montreal as a choreographer. Samuel Chouinard also works as a choreographer for Cirque du Soleil. Choreographic careerChouinard co-choreographed World Champions, Canadian National Champions and Gold Olympic Medalists, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir's Prince short dance for the 2016-2017 figure skating season and their iconic free dance Moulin Rouge![2] [3] for the 2017-2018 season. He also did the choreography for several of their show programs, starting in 2014. He has also choreographed pieces for three-time World Champions Gabriella Papadakis & Guillaume Cizeron, 2018 US National Champions Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue[4], and 2018 World Champion Nathan Chen. Chouinard as well as Dubreuil, Virtue and Moir are choreographing for The Thank You Canada Tour.
