He previously played for Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fifth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.[1] Ersson was awarded the Guldgallret, which recognizes the best junior player in the HockeyAllsvenskan, for his play with Västerås during the 2018–19 season.[2] He signed a contract to return to the Brynäs organization for the 2019–20 season.[3] Career statisticsRegular season and playoffs
