After initially working in several short films, Sananth made his feature film debut in Ajay Gnanamuthu's horror film Demonte Colony (2015). He is best known for his works in Jil Jung Juk, Demonte colony, and the sensational webseries As I am suffering from kadhal directed by Balaji Mohan. His recent feature is an action movie titled Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Sananth plays the young romantic role of Anwar. Early life and educationSananth was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling in St. Bedes and St. Johns, where he was part of the school's sports and dramatics club. After schooling he had a brief stint with a theatre group called Masquerade where he learnt the nuances of stage acting and was part of several plays in the Chennai theatre circuit. Further he joined engineering and later discontinued after a year due to his passion for films. He later took the visual communication course in Madras Christian College. CareerBefore making his debut on big screen, sananth was part of many short films in his college life. His short film Madhu, was directed by Rathnakumar and released in 2013. Madhu was selected to be a part of the anthology film Bench Talkies (later made into a feature film titled Meyaadha Maan). Sananth then played one of the lead characters in the feature horror film Demonte colony.[1][2] His second feature film in a lead role was Jil Jung Juk, a dark humour film in 2016 alongside Siddharth and Avinash Raghudevan. He next got associated himself in a web series produced and directed by Balaji Mohan titled As i am suffering from kadhal. His character named Badri was applauded by everyone. He is part of a silent film alongside Prabhudeva titled Mercury directed by Karthik Subbaraj. This movie is said to have no dialogues and is being called a no-language film. It released worldwide on April 13, 2018. His recent movie Petta, alongside Rajinikanth was released on January 10, 2019.
