Santa María la Real de Nájera Altarpiece is a 1489 oil on panel altarpiece by Hans Memling. It is sometimes entitled Christ Surrounded by Musician Angels after the subject of its central panel. It was commissioned by rich Spanish merchants as the high altarpiece for the monastic church of Santa Maria la Real in Nájera. Only three panels survived as far as the 19th century, when they were sold to the Museum of Fine Arts of Antwerp, where it still hangs. External links
