I have a desire to support this through education and cultural development and to create awareness for people to show how important it is."[6]|sign=|source=}}In October 2017, she became Jamaica Youth Ambassador to the United Nations with the role of "promoting youth advocacy and facilitating the participation of young people in decision-making."[7] On 6 December 2017, she received the Prime Minister's Youth Awards for Excellence at the Jamaican Office of the Prime Minister.[8] As the UN Youth Ambassador, in September 2018 she launched a series of talks regarding the safe spaces of Jamaican youth which was held in numerous high schools and colleges in Jamaica under theme: "Preserving our Youth Through Strategic Intervention in Creating Safe Spaces in the 21st Century."
