Early life and educationHe was born on 4 June 1961 in Abbottabad District.[1] He has a Bachelors of Arts degree.[1] Political careerHe ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) from Constituency PF-47 (Abbottabad-IV) in Pakistani general election, 2002 but was unsuccessful. He received 12,434 votes and lost the seat to Nisar Safdar Khan, a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q).[2] He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province as a candidate of PML-N from Constituency PF-47 (Abbottabad-IV) in Pakistani general election, 2008.
