Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster is a 1995 national bestseller book by paleoconservative British American journalist Peter Brimelow. It criticizes US immigration policy after 1965 from a conservative perspective. It highlights differences in post-1965 immigration policy with previous periods of immigration along with detailed responses to immigration advocates’ arguments. In June 2007, VDARE, a controversial website founded by Brimelow that focuses on immigration restriction, made the book available as a free PDF download. It is released under a Creative Commons license. Mark Krikorian gave the book a mostly positive review and called it a "flawed jewel."[1]References1. ^{{cite news|last1=Piggott|first1=Stephen|last2=Amend|first2=Alex|title=More Than An Occasional Crank: 2,012 Times the Center for Immigration Studies Circulated White Nationalist Content|url=https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2017/05/23/more-occasional-crank-2012-times-center-immigration-studies-circulated-white-nationalist|work=Southern Poverty Law Center|date=May 23, 2017|language=en}} External links
