He has served as president of Virginia Wesleyan University (VWU) since 2015 and previously served as the president of Bethany College (2007-2015), Wesley College (1997-2007), and Lincoln Memorial University (1991-1997).[1] EducationMiller received a B.A. in communications from West Virginia Wesleyan College, an M.A. from the University of Dayton, an Ed.S. from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. from the Union Institute and University.[2] CareerPrior to Virginia Wesleyan, Miller served as president of Bethany College in West Virginia (2007–15), Wesley College in Delaware (1997-2007), and Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee (1991–97).[2] Prior to the college/university presidencies, he served as executive vice president and vice president for development at Lincoln Memorial University, director of college relations and alumni affairs at Rio Grande College (now University of Rio Grande), and as a government reporter, weekend editor, and assistant sports editor at The Buckhannon Record in West Virginia.
