It was completed in 1990,[3] and includes {{convert|500000|sqft}} of office space.[4] The building was designed by Houston architects Hoover & Furr; Glaser & Associates was architect of record.[5] Space Design International was also involved with the building's design.[3][2] The headquarters of the E. Scripps Company is located in the Scripps Center.[6] In connection with the 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game played in Cincinnati, the upper exterior of the Scripps Center was decorated with a gigantic hat and mustache, giving it the appearance of a 19th century Cincinnati Redlegs player.[7] Despite public support for keeping the decorations permanently, the mustache and hat were removed after the game.[8] Television cameras were also mounted on the building's roof to provide aerial views of the game.[3] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Scripps Center|url=http://www.skyscrapercenter.com/building/scripps-center/10533|website=Skyscraper Center|publisher=CTBUH|accessdate=2017-07-26}} 2. ^1 {{Cite web|url=http://www.skyscrapercenter.com/building/scripps-center/10533|title="Scripps Center"|website=The Skyscraper Center|access-date=2017-06-12}} 3. ^1 2 {{emporis|122088}} 4. ^"About Scripps Center" Scripps Center website 5. ^Scripps Center, University of Cincinnati Digital Collections (accessed 2017-06-19). 6. ^E.
