{{short description|U.S. Jurisdictions resolved to not enforce certain gun control laws}}{{USgunlegalbox}}Second Amendment Sanctuary, also referred to as Second Amendment Preservation Ordinance[1] or Second Amendment Protection Act,[2] refers to resolutions adopted by some jurisdictions in the United States to not expend resources to enforce certain gun control measures perceived as violative of the Second Amendment. The sanctuary nomenclature is an allusion to sanctuary cities, jurisdictions that have resolved to not assist federal enforcement of immigration laws against illegal aliens.[3][4][5][6]
