Murali Srinivas and Sunil Kilaru under the Sai Raghavendra Films banner and directed by Vijaya Bapineedu. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Vani Viswanath and Aishwarya in the lead roles, with music composed by Chakravarthy.[2] The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[3] PlotSeetapati (Rajendra Prasad), an innocent village guy who loves his maternal uncle Pichayya's (Kota Srinivasa Rao) daughter Seeta (Aishwarya). But Pichayya is a totally money-minded person who breaks up relations with Seetapati's family as they are poor and wants to make a rich alliance for his daughter. On the other side, Seetapati & his father Subbarayudu (Vallabhaneni Janardhan) are vagabonds, which troubles his grandmother Govindamma (Nirmalamma). Meanwhile, Pichaiah learns regarding the love affair of Seetapathi & Seeta and he insults Govindamma before everyone. Depressed, Govindamma tries to commit suicide when Seetapathi promises her that he will reform himself. Here Pichaiah puts a condition that if Seetapati could prove himself within 6 months he is ready to give his daughter to him. Therefore, Seetapathi moves to Tirupathi to meet his childhood friend Ramadasu (Mallikarjuna Rao), who is working as a supervisor in a leather factory. To his misfortune, Seetapati lands at Police station, where surprisingly he meets Ramadasu who is actually a petty thief. Ramadasu gives him an idea to make thefts so that he can easily earn money. Taking his words, Seetapati steals a bag of a barber, Kathi Veerabhadraiah (P. L. Narayana), which contains only a barber kit. As per situations demand, Seetapati turns into a barber and bluffs before his family members that he has got a nice job with high salary and status. After some time, Veerabhadraiah recognizes his bag and takes it back. But looking at the Seetapati's honesty & innocence he gives him shelter. Parallelly, Veerabhadraiah's daughter Aliveelu Mangatayaru (Vani Vishwanath) falls for Seetapati. Once she expresses her love towards him, but he says sorry and explains his story when Manga understands his virtue. Meanwhile, Ramadasu & his lover Dasku (Jayalalithaa) bring a huge amount of money for his marriage by making thefts which Seetapati refuses. Eventually, Pichaiah meets with an accident, he is admitted to Tirupati hospital and the entire family accompanies him. Manga meets Seeta accidentally and recognizes her as Seetapati's fiance and takes them along with her. At the same time, Seetapati reaches the hospital to shave Pichaiah, where his drama breaks out and Pichaiah reviles on him. At that moment, Seetapati's head downs when Manga & Veerabhadraiah arrives and explain his greatness. Even then, Pichaiah does not yield, so, Seetapati & Seeta try to commit suicide, but funnily they jump into a shallow pond which makes Pichaiah also to realize his mistake. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Seetapati & Seeta. Cast
