Allahuekber Mountains ({{lang-tr|Allahuekber Dağları}}, which means "Allahu akbar Mountains"), is a mountain range in northeastern Turkey. The Kızılırmak River winds through it{{Citeneeded|date=December 2017}}. It is part of the Pontic Mountains.{{Citeneeded|date=April 2015}} In 1914 when World War I began, it was astride the border of the Ottoman Empire with Russian Empire. Turkish troops suffered a disaster during the Battle of Sarikamish when, ordered to recapture the Kars area, which was then part of Russian Empire.
