He is a member of Parliament of Bangladesh Awami League.[1] Early lifeTaposh was born to Awami League leader Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and his wife Arzu Moni[2] His parents were both assassinated on the 15th August 1975 in a military coup that also killed Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman and other members of his family. He and his elder brother survived. CareerTaposh was elected to the Jatiyo Sangsad in Bangladesh General Election, 2008 from the Dhaka-12 constituency.[3] Taposh vehicle came under bomb attack on October 21, 2009.
