}}Siletiteniz ({{lang-kk|Сілетітеңіз}}; also Seletyteniz, Seletytengiz) is an endorheic salt lake located in Ualikhanov District of North Kazakhstan, near the Russian border. The lake basin covers {{convert|777|km2}} but the actual area covered by water varies. The lake reaches a maximum depth of {{convert|3.2|m}}[1] and has a volume of about {{convert|1.5|km3}}.[2] The northern and eastern shores are high and straight while the western shore is low-lying and indented, gradually giving way to salt marshes. Hydrogen sulfide is emitted from deposits at the bottom of the lake.[1]

The lake is mainly fed by snow.[1] The Selety River, which is {{convert|407|km}} long and drains an area of {{convert|18500|km2}}, sometimes reaches the lake during high water but usually dissipates into the marshes south of the lake.[3]

Teniz is Kazakh for "sea", while the etymology of Selety is less clear. One hypothesis is that it derives from Yeniseian *sēre, "stag."[4]
