The silk glove-sign is a diagnostic measure when a hernia or hydrocele is suspected, however, there is no other clinical evidence to prove their existence. It involves rolling of the spermatic cord which causes a feeling of pieces of silk friction.[1] Positive sign demonstrates thickening of the spermatic cord, representing the hernial sac, in comparison with that on the other side.
