Location and layoutThe society has 650 houses with four different plot size areas which are as follows, R is 120 sq yds, R1 is 160 sq yds, A is 200 sq yds and B is 400 sq yds. Pehlwan Goth Road is the main road from the front entrance that connects the society to the city. Next to the society is Safari Comforts apartments which shares one side of the boundary wall with the society.[5] Society is near the Acacia Country and Golf Club, DUHS, UoK, NED, HabibU, SUPARCO, Lucky One Mall, KRC, Drigh Colony railway station, National Stadium, METRO and Karachi Safari Park. FacilitiesLow-end market is located outside of the society on the ground floor of Ajmeer Pride apartments. For the security reasons, Meezan Bank ATM is located next to Jamia Ashraf ul Madaris within the society. The society contains:
Jamia Ashraf ul MadarisJamia Ashraf ul Madaris is a large madrasa-boarding school located in the society. The private boarding school has boarding & some local residents students totalling about couple of thousand students. Security and constructionAt the east and north entrances, there are dozen security guards positioned with CCTV cameras who thoroughly inspect and monitor traffic coming in and out of the society for the security of the two Masjids. CCTV cameras are also installed outsides of the two Masjids and Madarasa where human traffic is very high. The society lies in the Gulistan-e-Johar Police Station area with Shah Faisal Town Police post at the far end of the north entrance of the society. Entire Pehlwan Goth Road in front of the society was repaired recently and has been repaired many times before. Also high-voltage power lines and underground optical fiber cable were laid throughout the society.[11] CBF and SBHRWAThe Cantonment Board Faisal (CBF) is responsible for municipal services on the land, now contains the society, which was decided in the early 1980s through a presidential order.[12] The society has its own welfare association named Sindh Baloch Housing Resident's Welfare Association (SBHRWA) which is a registered organization to safeguard the interest of the residents.[13] Water ProblemThe Karachi Water and Sewerage Board doesn't provide water to the society on weekly basis through the underground water pipeline system.[14][15] Though Safari Comforts apartments, receives water on weekly basis, which shares one side of the boundary wall with the society.
