It contains the shrines of many Nakshbandi saints and preachers. It is famous as it is the birthplace of prominent Islamic Naqshbandi saint Pir Syed Muhammad Channan Shah Nuri who started the religious lineage (silsila) known as Naqshbandia Mujadadia Aminia.
