Sittiab was erected in 2016 and 2017, with the type species Sitticus absolutus.[1] The generic name is derived from the first parts of the generic and specific names of Sitticus absolutus, the name used for the type species before transfer to Sittiflor.Species{{As of|2017|09}}, the World Spider Catalog accepted the following species:[1]- Sittiab absolutus (Gertsch & Mulaik, 1936) (type species) – USA
- Sittiab cursor (Barrows, 1919) – USA, Mexico
- Sittiab juniperi (Gertsch & Riechert, 1976) – USA
