The film stars Siddharth, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Lijomol Jose and Kashmira Pardeshi, and marked the latter's Tamil film debut.[1] The film is produced by Ramesh S. Pillai under the banner of Abhishek Films, which previously distributed Tamil films. Sidhu Kumar will compose the film's soundtrack. Principal photography of the film commenced in July 2018.[2] Cast
ProductionIn September 2017, director Sasi announced a mega multi-starrer project starring GV Prakash Kumar and Siddharth and also revealed that the film shooting would commence from October 2017.[3] The reports speculated that the film is titled as Rettai Kombu and will be produced by Sri Thenandal Films with GV Prakash Kumar as music composer for the film.[3][4] However the filmmakers refused the rumours including the film title speculated by the media reports and gone onto reveal that the film is yet to be titled.[2] On the other hand, the filming was delayed and postponed until July 2018 due to unknown reasons despite the announcement of the shooting which was revealed to go ahead during October 2017 according to filmmakers.[2] The official confirmation of the film titled Sivappu Manjal Pachai was revealed by the filmmakers on 8 March 2019 along with a poster and with an indication that the film would be released in around Summer 2019.[5][6][7][8][9] the shooting of actor prem was wrapped on 15 March 2019. The whole film's shoot was wrapped on 24 March 2019.
