}}Skip Williamson is a Grammy-nominated music producer, feature film producer and publisher based in Washington state and California, USA. After founding the independent label Will Records, he partnered with Lakeshore Entertainment to form Lakeshore Records.[1][2] In addition to being a co-owner of Lakeshore Records, Williamson is currently a co-publisher and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Revolver Magazine.[3][4]

Career

Before entering the entertainment industry, Williamson served as a strategist on Wall Street, constructing corporate prospectuses for mergers and acquisitions.[1]

In 1994, under the moniker Will Records, Williamson started producing underground albums out of his garage, including early work by Grandaddy, AK1200, and Candiria. Williamson’s late-90s founding of Lakeshore Records led to a prolific offering of pivotal film soundtracks.[5] He produced numerous albums for films, earning a pair of Grammy nominations for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media on Napoleon Dynamite (2005) and Little Miss Sunshine (2006).[6][7]

During his 13-year tenure as partner at Lakeshore Entertainment, Williamson also produced several films. These include the Underworld franchise (2003-2016), the cult classic Crank (2006) and High Voltage (2009), and a sci-fi action film Gamer (2009).[1][8][9][10]
