词条 | SPARC (tokamak) |
释义 |
SPARC is a tokamak that has been proposed for construction by Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC), with funding from Italian energy company Eni.[1] SPARC would be a scaled down version of the proposed ARC fusion reactor. SPARC proposes to use powerful magnets built with new yttrium barium copper oxide (YBCO) high temperature superconductor in order to produce 100 MW of fusion power for 10 second bursts despite being a relatively compact device.[1] References1. ^1 {{Cite news|url=http://news.mit.edu/2018/mit-newly-formed-company-launch-novel-approach-fusion-power-0309|title=MIT and newly formed company launch novel approach to fusion power|work=MIT News|access-date=2018-06-15}} {{Physics-stub}} 1 : Tokamaks |
