Spor, sporysz [ˈspɔr,ˈspɔrɨʂ] is a frumentaceous demon in Slavic mythology.^[1] Its name means ''augment''. It is said that the demon was responsible for the exuberance of cereal collection^[2] or growth^[3] and tended to take the form of a small animal, a hamster or a rat.^[1]
