HistoryThe Apostolic Carmel Congregation was founded by Venerable Mother Veronica in 1868 and established at Mangaluru, India, in 1870. The College was founded by Mother Mary Aloysia and formally inaugurated on 2 July 1921. First NAAC accreditation in 1999 the college secured Five Star Grade. Re-accreditation by the NAAC in 2005 and 2012 college earned A Grade. The college recognized a College with Potential Excellence by the U.G.C. and also the recipient of the Jimmy and Roselyn Carter Foundation Partnership Award.[3] ManagementThe Institute is managed by the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation founded by Mother Mary Aloysia, the Second Superior General of the Apostolic Carmel on 2 July 1921.
