Cwodzinski (born September 8, 1958) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represents District 48 in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area. Early life, education, and careerCwodzinski was born on September 8, 1958,[1] in California and was raised by his mother and grandfather. During middle school, his mother married and they moved to Superior, Wisconsin.[2] Cwodzinski attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Education and later a Master of Arts in secondary education. He was a teacher of American government for 33 years and taught at Eden Prairie High School for 31 years until retiring in 2016.[3] Minnesota SenateCwodzinski was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016, defeating Republican Minority Leader David Hann.
