However, Stoliczkia is considered valid because it was repeated twice in Jerdon's original publication, rendering a spelling error unlikely. Moreover, the name Stoliczkaia is now preoccupied by Stoliczkaia Neumayr 1875, an ammonite genus.[5] SpeciesThere are two species:[[3]] - Stoliczkia borneensis (Boulenger, 1899) — Borneo red snake, Stolickza's stream snake
