The group's main companies operate in wood pulp production, cultivation of forests for the timber and paper industry and co-generation of energy, including energy production from renewable resources. Prior to 2008 the group also operated in the steelworks industry. Altri's holding company is Altri SGPS, SA., which is listed on the Euronext Lisbon stock exchange. Its major subsidiaries are Celulose do Caima (paper industry) and Celbi (paper industry). Altri's F. Ramada subsidiary, which produced steel and storage systems such as cold rolled steel sheets and strips, machinery, tools and other related products, was spun off on the stock exchange in 2008.[3] Altri was itself born from a spin-out of the industrial assets of the Cofina group in March 2005.[4] References1. ^1 2 {{cite web |url=http://en.altri.pt/~/media/Files/A/Altri-V2/reports-and-presentations/presentations/Altri%202017-06%20presentation.pdf |title=Corporate Presentation 2017 |accessdate=19 Jan 2018 |publisher=Altri |df=dmy-all }} 2. ^{{cite web |url=http://en.altri.pt/~/media/Files/A/Altri-V2/reports-and-presentations/reports/english/2016/Altri_2016_AGM_EN.pdf |title=Annual Report 2016 |accessdate=19 Jan 2018 |publisher=Altri |df=dmy-all }} 3. ^{{cite news|url=https://www.forbes.com/feeds/afx/2008/06/09/afx5093722.html|title=Altri says new shares from steel unit spinoff to start trading early July|date=9 June 2008|work=AFX News|publisher=Forbes|accessdate=28 November 2009}} 4. ^{{cite news|url=https://www.forbes.com/feeds/afx/2005/12/21/afx2406810.html|title=Lisbon shares sharply higher as BCP rockets 8 pct after it loses BCR deal|date=21 December 2005|work=AFX News|publisher=Forbes|accessdate=28 November 2009}} External links
