Of those, 622 individuals were born in Norway to immigrant parents.[1] EducationAccording to Statistics Norway, as of 2016, among a total 3,354 Sudan-born immigrants aged 16 and older, 1,912 individuals had attained a below upper secondary education level, 375 had attained an upper secondary education level, 32 had attained a tertiary vocational education level, 628 had attained a higher education level of up to four years in duration, 286 had attained a higher education level of more than four years in duration, and 121 had no education.[2] EmploymentAccording to Statistics Norway, as of 2017, Sudan-born immigrants aged 15-74 in Norway have an unemployment rate of around 6.4%.[3] See also
