Lok Sujag, (people’s awareness/awakening), is a non-profit organization, striving for a society that respects the rights of all human beings, offering equal economic opportunities, and promotes democratic values. Punjab Lok Sujag was registered under Societies Act 1860, and has operated since 1997, having three offices in Lahore, Sahiwal, and Faisalabad. It has worked on many subjects on its own and collaborated with some of the leading civil society organizations for others. The groups ambitions are limitless, practically it has been able to undertake research and advocacy work on gender, agriculture, health, and politics and governance.
