Survival / The Barbarian is a 1979 board game published by Task Force Games. GameplaySurvival / The Barbarian is a package of two games: in Survival, the players are crash-landed scouts trying to reach a survival station before dwindling stores and nasty creatures kill them, and in The Barbarian, Vaarn the Barbarian tries to find sword-and-shield artifacts before wounds and a curse kill him.[1]ReceptionAaron Allston reviewed Survival / The Barbarian in The Space Gamer No. 41.[1] Allston commented that "In short, a beginning gamer will find Survival worthwhile; forget The Barbarian."[1]Reviews
