Lines J36 to Märsta and J37 to Gnesta start here. The station opened for traffic in 1860 under the name Södertelge nedre. In 1926 it was renamed Södertälje centralstation, until it got the current name in 1994. The yellow station building was drawn by Folke Zettervall and was completed 1917.
