There are currently 22 seats vacant in the Tamil Nadu assembly , however by-election will take place only for 18 assembly constituencies . Remaining 4 assembly constituencies (Ottapidaram, Aravakurichi, Tiruparankundram and Sulur) election will be conducted later and announcement yet to be made by Election commission of India .
