He first enrolled at Scottsdale Community College before transferring to Temple University. He attended South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona.[1] Wright was also a member of the Cleveland Browns, Oklahoma City Twisters and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. His brother Toby Wright also played in the NFL. College careerScottsdale Community CollegeWright first played college football for the Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes.[2] Temple UniversityWright then transferred to play for the Temple Owls. In 1986, he recorded 42 tackles, two fumbles recoveries, four interceptions and an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown.[2] Professional careerCleveland BrownsWright signed with the Cleveland Browns after going undrafted in the 1987 NFL Draft.
