The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul ({{lang-ru|Собо́р Свя́тых Петра́ и Па́вла}}) is a Russian Orthodox cathedral located in Petergof, Russia (also known as Peterhof). Emperor Alexander II approved the design for the cathedral in 1882. It was designed by civil engineer Nikolai Sultanov in the Kievan style. It was completed in 1905 but was closed in 1935 and seriously damaged in World War II when it was used to house artillery by German troops. The cathedral was eventually restored and services in the space resumed in 1990.[1]References1. ^{{Cite news|url=https://lidenz.ru/little-known-amazing-churches-sts-peter-and-paul-cathedral-in-peterhof/|title=Amazing Churches You Didn't Know About: St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Peterhof - Liden & Denz|date=2015-03-21|work=Liden & Denz|access-date=2018-03-09|language=en-US}} {{coord missing|Russia}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Cathedral of Peter and Paul}} 1 : Russian Orthodox cathedrals in Russia |
