It was broadcast on CBS from March 28, 1952, to May 26, 1953.[1] FormatStar Doris Day's singing highlighted the show, and each episode usually featured a guest star.[1] The program was sponsored initially by and later the Rexall drug company as a summer replacement for Amos 'n' Andy.[2] It was later sponsored by CBS-Columbia, Incorporated, the manufacturing subsidiary of CBS.[3] "It's Magic" was the theme.[1] PersonnelAs the show's title implies, Doris Day was the star. Les Brown and his orchestra provided instrumental music. The announcers were Don Wilson,[1] Johnny Jacobs and Roy Rowan.[4] Sam Pierce was the producer and director.[1] References1. ^1 2 3 4 {{cite book|last1=Dunning|first1=John|title=On the Air: The Encyclopedia of Old-Time Radio|date=1998|publisher=Oxford University Press|location=New York, NY|isbn=978-0-19-507678-3|page=207|edition=Revised}} 2. ^{{cite news|title=New business: Network|url=http://www.americanradiohistory.com/hd2/IDX-Business/Magazines/Archive-BC-IDX/52-OCR/BC-1952-06-02-OCR-Page-0016.pdf|accessdate=8 September 2017|work=Broadcasting|date=June 2, 1952|page=16}} 3. ^{{cite news|title=CBS Set Gain|url=http://www.americanradiohistory.com/hd2/IDX-Business/Magazines/Archive-BC-IDX/52-OCR/BC-1952-12-22-OCR-Page-0031.pdf|accessdate=8 September 2017|work=Broadcasting|date=December 22, 1952|page=31}} 4. ^{{cite book|last1=Terrace|first1=Vincent|title=Radio Programs, 1924-1984: A Catalog of More Than 1800 Shows|date=1999|publisher=McFarland & Company, Inc.|isbn=978-0-7864-4513-4|page=102}} External linksStreaming
