词条 | The Inventors (Australian TV program) |
释义 |
In each episode, a number of inventors would show their invention, and it was critiqued by a panel of three judges, who announced a winner at the end of the show. Most episodes were 30 minutes long, though the end-of-year finale, in which a yearly winner was announced, ran longer. For the majority of the show's run, the host was Geoff Stone, and the panel was Leo Port, Diana Fisher and Vic Nicholson.[2][3] Port died in 1978 and was replaced by Neville Stephenson. In 1980, all of the presenters except Fisher left to start a similar program on the Nine Network, What'll They Think Of Next?[3] References1. ^[https://aso.gov.au/titles/series/inventors/ The Inventors], Australian Screen Online {{DEFAULTSORT:Inventors, The (Australian Tv program)}}2. ^[https://trove.nla.gov.au/version/175727351 Team from ABC series The Inventors], National Library of Australia 3. ^1 [https://nostalgiacentral.com/television/tv-by-decade/tv-shows-1970s/inventors-the Inventors, The], nostalgiacentral.com 7 : 1970 Australian television series debuts|1970s Australian television series|1980s Australian television series|Australian Broadcasting Corporation shows|Australian non-fiction television series|Black-and-white Australian television programs|English-language television programs |
