Amietophrynus poweri is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae.

It is found in Angola, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa.

Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, and ponds.
