Amoron should not be confused with Amaron, Ammaron, Ammoron or Moron (Book of Mormon) four other Book of Mormon figures with similar names.{{Religious text primary|date=October 2011}} According to the Book of Mormon, Amoron ({{IPAc-en|ə|ˈ|m|ɔːr|ɒ|n}})[1] was a Nephite from the fifth century AD, and was a contemporary and subordinate of the prophet and army commander Mormon.
