词条 | Titus Antistius |
释义 |
Antistius took no part in the war, and after the Battle of Pharsalus went to Bithynia, where he saw Julius Caesar and was pardoned by him. He died at Corcyra (modern Corfu) on his return, leaving behind him considerable property. Antistius is known almost solely because of his mention in Cicero's correspondence with Lucius Munatius Plancus.[2] Notes1. ^{{cite book | last =Del Mar | first =Alexander | title =The Middle Ages Revisited: Or, The Roman Government and Religion and Their Relations to Britain | publisher = Cambridge Encyclopedia Company | date =1899 | pages =127 | url =https://books.google.com/books?id=EeURAAAAYAAJ | accessdate=2016-02-06}} {{DGRBM|author=WS|title=T.
